I worked with Olivier Rousteing, one of my dearest companions and the innovative executive for Balmain. The topic of the occasion was Manus x Machina, the merging of style and innovation, so we needed to go for a truly cutting edge look."
At the time, the 35-year-old wasn't fulfilled by her post-child body. Luckily, Rousteing and organization brought SEVERAL pieces!
"The way toward getting prepared for an occasion like this is extraordinary; it truly takes a town. Right now, my post-pregnancy weight was all the while fluctuating and I was not at my objective yet, but rather I was making a decent attempt. Olivier and his whole Balmain group conveyed huge amounts of alternatives for me to attempt."
With a specific end goal to hit the nail on the head, they even tore separated skirts and dresses!
"When I arrived in New York at midnight, I instantly went to see Olivier for a 1 a.m. fitting, and we truly cut skirts down the middle, made tops from dresses, and stayed up until 4 a.m. to get the ideal alternative that we felt fit the topic."
In spite of the fact that she didn't wear large portions of the pieces, regardless she has them in her storage room and will wear them on a celebrity lane in the not so distant future!
